First of all, such panels obviously do exist. Not just that laptops have 17" full HD displays but the ASUS Transformer AiO has a 18.4 full HD panels and the Dell XPS 18 also has one -- I wonder whether they use the same panel, even.

But both are too expensive. I just would like a tiny bit smaller than the AOC e2351f I carry around without paying a fortune for a computer I don't use.

I don't know of any. However, you can build your own by pairing the panel with the right controller board. There are complete DIY methods and ready-made controller boards out there as well.

    The problem is the casing.

Good observation OP, and one that's certainly in need of filling. This is where venture capitalist and entrepreneurs begins: Find a a segment that no one had addressed and fill it. Go for it OP. If you don't, then perhaps I will?
