I am looking to buy an Acer Aspire One 10.1" netbook and would like to get a good protable/slim USB DVD drive to use with it. Can anyone recommend a good one, and preferably one that doesn't cost more than the netbook itself?
Also, I'd like to know if there is one that also have blue ray.
Thanks!

have the lg slim white usb powered one, it gets recognized easily but had to return it 3 times it just broke down wouldnt burn start up or open.
In the store they said that was abnormal to happen but Id say steer away from the lg one. -
I just got a netbook and I ordered this drive. It should be coming in a day or two. The picture is the drive with a stand attached. I don't know how slim it is without it. There's also a white version for almost $70.

It's rock solid and I've zero issues burning several dvds on it. -
Thanks for all the suggestions ...
In the retail shops in my area (in Canada), it seems that everyone is looking at a Lacie slim DVD burner. Any experience with it?
I have also seen a Sony one. But have no idea whether it is good or not. I have an experience with a Sony external drive once, it stop working after one time, and Sony refused to either fixed it or let me return it. I've never used another Sony drive. But I might be biased.
Thanks for any comments.
