actually, the Kuro Elite name, and it's legendary picture quality, still lives on.

    Sharp Elite Series

That is really weird since Panasonic bought all the patents from Pioneer for the Kuro tech. According to Cnet, the sharp is the best picture quality they have seen in a very long time.

the Kuro/Elite name is it's own seperate entity. Pioneer was just producing the sets at the time. the past Kuro sets were also plasma, so the new LED LCD Elites are what really has my interest.

lol vicious and his "green toy room"! good stuff as usual.

i have a question about your triple monitor setup. how do u bare with the lines where the screens join together? that would totally annoy the heck out of me while i'm gaming. especially an FPS-game.

You do not notice it, you think that because your looking at a picture of the setup, but when the setup is larger than life its not something you pay mind too.

Just like your car where the front windshield and your side window have a partition.

Something like a 2 monitor setup where its right in the middle of your game would be a problem but with 3 monitors you still only focus center monitor like normal and the two side monitors just fill your peripheral vision bringing you into the game and increasing immersion. The only way you notice the bezels is if you turn your head and look right at them and try to look at them.

Still try to go for a setup with bezels as thin as possible (U2410 was one of the best when I got my setup) but its not nearly as big of a deal as anybody thinks (just ask one of the hundreds of multi-screen gamers on WSGF)

I guess I would say its safe to assume that any little bit that the bezels could take away from the experience having 3x more FOV and in-game graphics presented to you will more than greatly make up for it.

thanks for the input. i don't have much experience with gaming on multi-monitors. i'm the type to go all out, so i didn't want to blindly throw my money into a setup that i would regret later on. we'll see though. your description does make some sense.

woot! my desk doesn't look so bare anymore lol. my PS3 3D display was just sitting around so i decided to use it as my laptop's main screen. also, my Corsair SP2500's came in earlier today.

the Cryo LX isn't there because i let a friend borrow it. his laptop was overheating while he was playing Diablo 3, and none of his cheapo coolers were cuttin it.

Grain is due to high ISO, if a phone or something or a camera on auto mode it bumped up the ISO high so that it could have a faster shutter speed.

I was messing with the setting on the newer camera I got when I took that, I have it figured out a bit more so I could probably get it to look nicer now anyway, but still rather use natural light~

low iso, long shutter speed, tripod or sit it down and use a timer, average focal length.

    post good picture, feel good.

and hey just bought a new screen: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004LXK8LI/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 definitely not bad for the price, received it today, very slim and doesn't look that bad actually, I'll post pictures later

60D great entry level DSLR with killer video ability. I do video more than pictures and not being able to flip out the screen on the D7000 is a major boon.
