I just went looking for a man-purse for my new Asus 1000HE 10" netbook. I wanted to stick to something that was relatively small but still useful... I found leather-briefcases.com on Google, but they seemed to have the best selection in all the searching I did. I picked out the 4208DK "compact" messenger bag, and I'm pretty happy with it.
The leather is a bit nicer than I was expecting, and it's divided up well, with a couple zippered pockets and plenty of room for whatever support gear I might need. It's got some light open-cell foam padding built-in, which is sorta useless in my opinion - but it might help a bit. The 10" netbook fits well in the back section, though it doesn't fit into the center zippered pouch like I sort of hoped it would. No problem, really, as they have a leather strap to hold the netbook in.
All in all, I'm happy with it, and I'd recommend the site to anyone looking for a smaller bag to try and retain the netbook size footprint by not buying some huge bag. Cheers!

How much did you actually pay for it?? I just went over to the page and $100+ for a laptop bag or even a case/sleeve is just too much...I already own a Caselogic Backpack for my DV7 and a Belkin Messenger for my Vaio CR, both of for less than $80.

They are nice looking...
Did you have any applicable discount coupons that you were able to apply at all on this site? I have never heard of this site before.

Yeah, they're a little pricey, I agree. I was a little particular with size, though - and it took a while to find something that met my criteria. So I was ok with the price. No coupons, unfortunately. But with something like this, I've generally found it's better to find something you like rather than something priced the way you like it. Besides, if I take decent care of it and keep it for 10 years I'm not going to be complaining at that point.
Pretty great laptop bag
