I just recently purchased the Kodak ESP 7 printer. The problem arrives when i try to refill the ink cartilage (Black 10). I fill it up with my ink and when i put the ink back in, it says remove and replace ink cartilage. I see on the ink cartilage that there are 2 contacts. Is there a way to reset it?

Sorry mods if this is in the wrong section

    Thank you,

    Mike

I have never heard of resetting the cartridge. Could something go wrong during the fill-up process? Try cleaning the contacts on the cartridge and on the printer cartridge slot. An impurity over those may prevent electrical contact between the printer and the cartridge...

Thanks for responding, ya i tired that, it seems that some new lexmark printers i think have the same problem. I couldnt remember if it was lexmark or a different brand. Its a way for the damm companies to make money and buy their ink.

Sorry for that... I have never used lexmark. I have been using an HP840C printer and the refills were working flawlessly. You may search for "lexmark forums" over google and try to find a specific answer to your question..

Good luck and let us know if you can find out the solution..

Thanks guys, I'm regretting getting this P.O.S. printer. First off the wireless printer dont work, it DOES NOT PRINT 29 PAGES PER Minute like the box says, it takes like 20 seconds to print one black and white page, maybe 15 seconds. The paper gets jammed non stop and it runs out of ink in about 150 pages. I can't even return this P.O.S.

Thanks guys for at least trying to help its apreciated.
