Yesterday I got an external soundcard (Traktor Audio 2) and was met with a bunch of trouble from the USB.
First of all, using the interface on an USB 3.0 port is an instant BSOD the second a sound is supposed to come out of it. Luckily p150em has one USB 2.0 port in it, so I got it to work.
(USB 3.0 drivers are up to date)
My second problem is that I ran out of USB ports... so I bought an USB hub ( Trust 4 Port USB Hub (fixed link)). And it doesn't work.
Well, it DOES work, but the devices keep disconnecting all the time, even though everything seems to be lit up and working. The hub shouldn't need drivers and I haven't installed anything, it was advertised as "fully plug n play". The manual has 3-step instructions that go literally like this: "1. Turn on computer, 2. Plug in the hub, 3. Done"
What makes it more confusing, is that these disconnections started after I started using the external sound card. I was using the hub BEFORE I even had the sound card, and it worked ok.
So.. any guesses?
