I'm looking for a new gaming (and all around) keyboard and have narrowed it down to this as it seems like its well reviewed and a decent price. My only concern is that some people were saying that the keyboard keys are smaller than typical keys. Does anyone have one that could comment on that? I know the function keys are half size but what about all the other keys?

    Thanks!

I don't have the X4, but I have the X6 and haven't had problems with the size. I haven't noticed any more errors or other issues compared to other keyboards. I think the X4 also has the extra long space bar like the X6. Overall the feel is pretty decent with good lighting

Thanks for the response JwY! I believe the keys on both models are the same. How do you like the key action? Do you like it when typing and gaming? If you have ever used any mechanical keyboards, how does it compare?

    Thanks!

The key action is good, but I personally prefer the low profile key height keyboards. The key travel and distance is also decent. Overall it feels solid, and there's no noticeable flex in my X6. I can't stand keyboards that are squishy. One benefit of the X4 is that it doesn't have the ghosting problems of the X6. It would have been nice if there were more backlight options though since red is hard to match.

I haven't owned a mechanical keyboard yet, so I can't make a good comparison. I was thinking about the BlackWidow, but I didn't like the loud clicking when I tried it. I didn't have a chance to see the Stealth version in person yet. The X4 should be fairly inexpensive right now which would make it a good deal.

Hey JwY, ya I think the X4 will be good for me. I also don't like the loud clicking of mechanical keyboards but some of those keyboards sound better, like the Cherry MX blacks that are on the azio mech4 and others. They are fairly expensive though.

I'm in Canada and the best deal I found for the X4 is $55 shipped (but with tax comes to $63 or so). I know when this kb was on sale it dropped to like $35... I think I might wait a bit in case it drops.
