For those of you who have a Brain Cell, can you tell me what kind of give they have? I am thinking about getting one for a new laptop, but the specs are little big for the Brain Cell. At the back the laptop is .2" too tall.

Do the Brain Cells have any give? Or would that not be a good idea?

    Thanks.

    give?
All can tell you it isn't a hard-shell type of protector. So it isn't crush-proof, but that makes it better for shock-resistance.
It will do a very good job preventing anything internal in your laptop from breaking loose and rattling around from a shock.

When choosing my size I emailed them from an email I got of their website and was recommended my size.

Yeah, I got a response from them and they said it should fit, so I'm probably going to give it a try.

I had an older model of the brain cell and it was for a 15inch laptop. It was the vertical version. Once inside there was maybe a 2.5inc free space on top. I would stuff with a shammy I had to make it snug...

but just take the measurements they provide and go from there. When I bought mine I never thought about that I just made it sure it fit.

Mine fits in like a sleeve with no space, I kinda even have to stretch over a lil. It is being fit in with my extended battery though. Oh and I have teh horizontal newer type with the memory foam on the bottom.
