I was just wondering what, if any, is the difference/importance of wether a cooler pad throws air towards the laptop or away from the laptop.

Also, what cooler would you recommend for a Dell XPS m1530?

I bought a Belkin Cooler Pad and it seems to be working fine but since i'm no expert and am a first time laptop owner, i don't really know how to decide if it was a good buy or not.

    thnx

Use HWMonitor and test your temps with and without the cooling pad.
