This is going to sound like a really crazy question but... on this mouse, there is the "Bluetooth" logo on the top near the scroll wheel, and on the back end of it, what I THINK is a light. It's a small bar... looks to me like an LED light but mine does not light up. That's my question, is that "bar" suppose to light up?

And does the BT logo on yours light up? I don't know if I got a bad mouse, but neither of them light up for me. Maybe I'm being silly but I wanted to know.

The led only turns on to indicate low battery life

and I don't believe the bluetooth logo lights up, if it does then we both got a bad batch

Are you both pleased with the v270? While waiting for my new laptop, I've been hunting down some of the essentials. The v270 caught my eye because it is Bluetooth, and because it has 1000 dpi sensitivity instead of the more common 800... So, yeah. Would you all suggest I get this mouse, or look for a different one?

this mouse works fine for me. It's much better than my old MS Bluetooth mouse (from 2 years ago). while it's not quite as smooth as a wired mouse or the touchpad, it's not noticeable at all unless i'm paying close attention and I'm using the 8ms refresh LCD (its not noticeable on the 16ms screen on my laptop at all). The included Duracell alkaline batteries have been running for almost a month now.

The old Microsoft mouse lasted no more than two weeks on two 2500mAh AA batteries, was often unresponsive, had no power switch

i also like the mouse. The duracell batteries have been lasting for some time now. I think the size is perfect and comfortable.
