I am planning on purchasing this backpack, but want to know if it is possible to put my 17inch Gateway P-6860FX in one of their sleeves and then have it still fit in the Slappa Velocity Backpack ??? I just like to have the extra protection that the sleeve provides. Also where is the BEST and cheapest place to order the Version 2 model ?? Thanks for any info. God Bless :)

Well if it doesn't end up fitting, Spire has some great backpacks and sleeves. :) Hope this helps!!

You mean to put the laptop in a sleeve, then put it inside the Slappa?

The Slappa has a built in sleeve in one of its two compartments.

Right, but that doesn't offer the same support as an actual dedicated sleeve..

Correct, put my laptop in a sleeve and then put the sleeve inside the backpack sleeve pocket. I also currently have a MSI GX600 and I have a Neoprene sleeve for it and put that in a Swiss Gear backpack and it is protected very well !!! The extra padding from the neoprene sleeve is nice :) God Bless :)

Once my Belkin sleeve gets here, I'll test it out for you?
