    Hello everyone,

My previous hard-drive has just killed itself, deleting all my valuable information from my Europe trip, and I was wondering what Hard Drive I should purchase as a replacement that hopefully won't tread the same path as my previous one. I would prefer a Firewire port with this HDD because I have a Macbook that can support it. The option I am considering is the Western Digital My Book Premium 250GB for $150 at my school.

    Thank you for your response.

That Mybook is way to expensive. You can purchase a Seagate Freeagent 500gb for $110-$120 and it comes with a 5 year warranty, which beats out WD's warranty.
