Can you customize the side-scroll (i mean, 'left' and 'right' actions) on Mac OS X Leopard?

does it require installing Logitech Control Center 2.4, or can it be done on mouse preferences without the software?

i will unconditionally love whoever answers my doubts.. i chose this mouse over all bluetooth options but this is a great doubt to me approaching the day i'll switch to mac. :)

I'm by no means a v470 user, but I've heard that the side scroll can be tweaked to suit your needs. I'm not sure if it's done in the system preference or with the Logitech software though...

So what color mouse are you getting? Blue or White?

is there any v470 & os x user that can answer me?
(if you know the answer, you do not really need to match the "requirements" :p)
