    Hey guys,

I was planning on buying either a BenQ XL2420Z or the XL2420T.

The one thing that is putting me off buying the Z is the motion blur reduction through a strobe backlight. There have been a number of reports that suggest that this doesn't work very well, something supposedly fixed by the latest 2.0 firmware and a piece of software.

Firstly, can that feature be turned off so that it operates just like the T does if necessary? Secondly, if I bought the Z directly from BenQ's EU/UK store, would it come with firmware 2.0 installed on it already?

Seeming as I can't actually find the Z much cheaper than the T, it doesn't seem to make much sense to me not to buy the Z, provided the backlight can actually be set to act normally and not strobe.
