One of my friend is interested in a DIY virtual laser keyboard, which has been purchased by him for some days.
    Laser / Laser Projection Keyboard / V2 / DIY Kit EDT-329931 - TinyDeal
I noticed the item but confused about it in some points. These points are based on both computer gamers we are.
    1. Laser keyboard is harmful to our bodies though it's too cool. Short time of using is okay. Long period of using is trouble. Laser rays is harmful to people? I don't know.
    2. Laser keyboard is like a paper. No any tacticle feeling so that we are unable to knock at them without glancing at the keyboard. Playing games seems to be too hard.
    3. Laser keyboard exists in some fixed situation. It must be in a dark room, the keyboard must be supplied by power source and the most significant point is that you have to find an excellent horizontal surface for projection.
Guys what do you think of it?

Nope as long as you don't stare into the laser you're fine. It uses a red laser diode so no risk of UV exposure or anything.

    Don't use a laser keyboard.

There isn't any feedback when you press keys, so it will be a horrible typing experience. It is more of a "cool" novelty to show friends, than a product that is actually useful.

In addition to that, you actually need to have a flat surface to use these keyboards. You cannot just use it on your lap, like a real laptop computer, or a bluetooth keyboard / case that you can use with an iPad.

And don't worry about laser radiation. The light that comes out of this thing isn't harmful.

I bought one of those a while back, waste of money. It is very difficult to type on, I found it easier to type on my rubber flex keyboard than the laser one. No feedback at all makes.

Possibly the only keyboard worse than a touchscreen or Surface Touch Cover.

    Yep.

I really don't get it with all those touch covers and laser keyboards and stuff. Do typical computer customers these days even learn how to type?

Nope. All the elementary schools stopped teaching kids how to type after replacing their PC's with iPads. And now we're programming them from infancy to poke everything they see. The circle of evolution is complete.

    Arrr.

Back in my university days in the (optional) English typing class it was 400CPM or something for a pass. I didn't pass though.

I don't think I received any formal typing education in my elementary school years (granted I only studied up to the 3rd grade in NA and then moved, but still...), and this was the early 90s. I learned to type with Typing Tutor 5.

    Really difficult to type on?
Will the sense become stronger if the laser launcher closer to the surface?
    Thank you

    There's no "sense" at all.
