My MX620 just came yesterday. I'm posting this review via requests.
First off, I bought the mouse because I was looking for a cheap wireless laser mouse for my new notebook - $20 compared to the closest but much more expensive alternative, the MX Revolution (which runs anywhere from $50-70).
Here's a quick pros and cons:
Pros:
Cheap
Feels comfortable (I'm used to a G5 and this feels somewhat similar)
Scroll wheel - free scrolling so scrolls very fast and smooth when needed
Power switch - on/off switch to conserve battery life
Good wireless range & no hiccups/skips
Medium-heavy: could also be a con, but I personally like heavier mice (my G5 is loaded with the maximum weights)
Cons:
Scroll wheel - sometimes difficult to middle click (ie. open new tabs in firefox) because the wheel doesn't have much friction
Tracking - has a tougher time tracking on glossier surfaces than my G5, the problem can be easily rectified with a mouse pad though
Wheel adjuster - imo, it would be better if the switch to adjust the wheel between free scrolling and non was a button on the mouse rather than a switch on the bottom of the mouse (annoying to have to flip over)
Has a search button which is unfortunately nonprogrammable (would like to see a dpi/sensitivity adjuster button instead)
Conclusion:
Great bang for the buck. Highly recommended for normal tasks (web browsing, word processing, even design work) but spend more money on a mouse for gaming.

You should be able to program the search button with Setpoint?
-
No luck - they didn't send a setpoint CD like they did with my G5 so I went to download it off the Logitech website - there were no config tabs for the mouse.

Bummer. Tried it for gaming yet?

Yep, played some SC and CS. Works fine for both. You'll probably want to look elsewhere if you're at the super competitive level though.
