Ignoring the absurd pun of my title, and the many mice threads for a moment.

I am looking for a quiet (clicking, scrolling) mouse that is lightweight and has at least middle click & back/forward buttons. It also must be wireless.

What fits the bill? I am in the UK by the way, so double your US prices for effective 4x £ prices YAY :)

    Thanks for the fast reply.
The VX Revolution is currently top of the list, although the micro receiver from the VX Nano & competing bluetooth mice are preventing me getting it (plus the still high >$60 price).

I remember reading a while back that there is no middle-click on it, is that true? Or is that the Nano?

To me the only really good thing about the nano is the receiver. Its a good mouse don't get me wrong, but its tiny. It took me almost a month a half to get accustomed to the 'travel size' Microsoft wireless 4000 mouse i had before the VX revo and I have held the nano. It fits in your finger tips. The revo has just the right size, weight and feature set and buttons. Also one thing that is not necessarily a big issue but I like the fact that the revo uses AA as opposed to AAA on the nano. I have more electronics that use AA's so that makes it that much more convenient and cost effective. If you go to tigerdirect i think they are still running a sale/rebate on the revo's.

And the clicking action is quiet yeah?

No TigerDirect in the UK, so the rip-off prices will have to suffice ;D

I'll be a bit partisan here and state that I have never acquired a Logitech device that i was disappointed with and the VX Revolution did not disappoint. The clicking sound does not seem loud at all to me but i guess that could be a subjective matter.

I do think the clicking and the scrolling (when friction is on) is quite loud on the VX revolution. I'm using a wooden desk so also the sound of my typing is amplified. But I still think the VX revo clicks a bit loud.

Hmm, loud clicks are an annoyance of mine hence the original request. From my experience, Logitech mice have tended to be a bit "clickier" than their Microsoft et al substitutes.
