Anyone have the Abyssus? I recently returned the Deathadder because it's too big (128mm) and bought the Orochi, which I find a bit small (99mm), also the bottom flares on the side is bothersome to me. So I'm thinking about getting an Abyssus and trying it out. If I like it, I'll keep it over the Orochi, if not, I'll keep the Orochi. Does anyone have the Abyssus? How is it?
    Mastershroom, any insights? :D

I've never used the Abyssus. It seems like a nice middle ground that you might like. Be aware that it only has 3 buttons.

You must be joking. That mouse must be a fake Razer product. I've never seen a Razer mouse with less than 3,295,022 buttons on it. :D

Hah, they do have a tendency towards more buttons rather than less (the Naga, anyone? 12 thumb buttons ringing any bells? :p), but the Abyssus is specifically marketed as a minimalist design. Completely symmetrical, and only the bare necessity buttons and wheel.

I'm pretty sure the Salmosa and Krait are also three-button designs.

Do you think you could get a photo or two, for the sake of our friend AmazingGracePlayer here? I'm sure he'd appreciate being able to see how big it is, considering how much trouble he seems to be having finding a mouse that fits his hand. :p

I don't mind the lack of side buttons. When I'm using the Orochi and Deathadder, 99% of the time I use the side button for the sake of using it rather than for convenience. Both the Lachesis and Copperhead are bigger than the Deathadder, and Krait is not much smaller, so I'm going to stay away from those three.

And pictures would be very helpful!

What do you mean by big? Width? Length? Height? Or a combination of three?

Usually length... Also, the Deathadder has a hill in the middle of the mouse, which makes it even harder to grip. The Orochi is almost perfect, but because of the side flares on the bottom of the mouse, I have nowhere to put my pinky and half of my ring finger. Width usually isn't an issue because I'm a guitar/bass/piano player, so my fingers can spread far apart easily.

    This post sounds so dirty.

haha...well sounds liek you are a palm grip person, in that case the copperhead/diamondback won't work for you. Have you seen the Logitech G500? Thats a pretty good one, not that I need a new mouse (Deathadder for2.5yrs), but I am just tempted by new things. :p

Well, I usually use the claw grip, but it's more like a Wolverine claw rather than an eagle claw in that I don't arch my fingers exaggeratedly and leave them only slightly bent :D And I've tried the G500, it's ok, but not a big fan of the design/color.

And I'd definitely stick with the Deathadder if my hands were a tiny bit bigger. That mouse was great.

Hmm have you tried the diamondback? Personally I didn't find it wide enough but it was a very nice mouse that I used for just over 2 years (bought used) before the "anti moisture layer" started peeling.

Nope, but it's longer than the Deathadder according to Razer's website.

I got some pics of my Razer Krait.
(Sorry about the quality, iPhones indoors are terrible)

I have extremely small hands and it is super comfy. I bought my mate one for his birthday and he adores it, even though he has huge hands.

I've had this for about two years and it still runs like a champ. If it died right now, I'd go and buy a new one tomorrow at any price, no questions asked.
