    which firmware works best for windows 7?

    the 1.25 version isnt showing the control panel..so i cant even use half the buttons on side or change dpi

    maybe you wanna try go to device manager

    there you can see USB input device and HID-compliant device...one of them is your deathadder , try installing the drivers manually from there and try update your firmware again
