I use my Diamondback with the Razer exactmat (Speed side) and I noticed one day it was really rough, it didn't glide along the exactmat like it usually does.
I checked out the grey base points and there's some slight scratching on the top left teflon piece.
I'm very careful with my stuff so I don't recall any time when this could have happened, though I do travel with the mouse every week. Maybe it got scratched in my bag.
Anyway, it seems to be a little better since wearing down on the exactmat, but it's still a bit too annoyingly rough to ignore.
So I'm wondering if there is any way I can fix this.
Is there a replacement set of teflon feet Razer offers to save you replacing the whole mouse?
Or would it be better if I purchased more of a cloth mousemat so it wouldn't scrape? If so, which pads work well with the Diamondback? The exactmat is the only surface it really works on for me.
Thanks for any help.

Cloth mousepads definitely help prevent scratches a lot more than plastic mousepads, but I've gotten use to the feel of plastic mousepads so I keep using mine

It is very possible to buy replacment feet for razer mice. They'll set you back about $10 as opposed to $30 or $40 buying a new mouse.
this site has them:

I would also suggest buying a cloth drawstring bag to put your mouse in when you travel. It would go a long way in protecting your mouse. -

Razer usually includes 1 extra set of the teflon feet. I know they did with my copperhead.
