Just ordered this mouse, and I just wanted to get some opinions and experiences from those of you that either have one or have used it before. Thanks!

If you've already ordered it, you're going to get your own opinions and experiences very soon. :p

Most people ask on forums to get opinions before they buy something. I used that mouse for a bit. It's reasonably comfortable, but the software stinks. A Logitech MX518 is just as functional and costs half as much.

If you're looking for reassurance that you made a good choice - rest assured. You made a good choice. You'll be perfectly fine with the mouse.

Well, some people are willing to pay a little extra for <s>a quality mouse</s> an LED scroll wheel and gold-plated USB connector.

It's a nice mouse. Although I switched over to the Roccat Kone, the Imperator still serves pretty well on my side. I hadn't had any issues with it except the cable sleeve that was nibbled on by a mouse :( Now it looks like it's growing hair out from the cables.

Apparently it thinks my cable's a new type of black cheese haha.

I'm confused (it happens). Why would you buy a mouse without first going to Best Buy, Staples, Office Max, Wal Mart, Target, Office Depot, etc. and trying it out?

In my opinion, no Razer mouse I have ever purchased ever lasted, and if it did, it was within the 30-day return period and I ended up taking it back and coming home with a Logitech mouse instead.
