Alright. Now on to the review.

Switching from the Logitech G9 Mouse to this mouse I immediately felt a difference in the way it feels in my hand. The Imperator sits a little higher than the G9, but not uncomfortably so. I have not yet gone through a gaming session with the mouse so I can't really comment on fatigue. The Imperator has a smooth satin-ish feeling on the palm rest and 2 mouse buttons. The rest of the mouse has a high gloss look to it so expect to see fingerprints everywhere.

The main buttons have a nice solid click to them as well as having a noticeably louder click than the G9. I dont feel like Im going to break a button when clicking the mouse like I did when I tried the Deathadder.

The side buttons are adjustable which is kind of nice as I have small hands so its hard to reach the front side button on some mice where they put the side buttons towards the front of the mouse. Even for a person with large hands, they should be able to find a comfortable spot for the side buttons. I keep the side buttons as close to the rear of the mouse as possible as that is what i find comfortable without having to reach too much to press the front side button. My only gripe is that I feel the side buttons are a bit too thin.

The on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment are a bit awkwardly placed in my opinion. I would have liked to see the sensitivity adjustment buttons placed next to the left mouse button like they are on the Razer Mamba.

The Teflon feet slide very smoothly across my Razer eXactMat on the speed side.

One thing I have noticed in comparison between the Imperator and G9 is the software they use. In Logitech's setpoint, you have the ability to set the pointer speed and acceleration separately from the OS Control panel settings. With the Imperator set to 5600 dpi and an acceleration of 9, the pointer still feels slower than the G9 set to 3200 dpi and an acceleration of 7. To be honest I have just as much precision with my clicks at 5600 dpi on the Imperator as I did with the G9 set to 1600 dpi. I've also turned the mouse pointer speed all the way up in the Mouse Control Panel settings.

Lift off distance is very minimal. Just barely picking up the mouse 5mm will cause the mouse to stop tracking the movements.

I have also noticed a slight issue with a ghost pointer when Im not touching the mouse, but I believe that is because of my work environment so I will confirm that issue tomorrow when I get off of work.

It will be the same as the comparison in the review.
