    I connected it and I see a message in Device Manager: unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed)

    Also I installed the latest Razer Surround 2.00.10 and it keeps telling me connect a Razer Synapse 2.0 device

    any suggestions? I can't find any driver for this thing

    If I understood that correctly, there is no drivers but firmware upgrades for the headset.
    Anyways, contact Razer support. I've done that once (keyboard software) and they responded fast and I even got correct answer :p
