Hi,
I'm looking to buy this Razer laptop bag. It does look pretty neat, but the only place where I found it sold is e-bay, where this guy is selling it for $97.
I'm wondering a couple of things:
- I've checked tons of resellers out there, with no luck. Any ideas where else could this be bought?
- Anyone owns this bag? If so, can you write anything about it? No reviews are to be found.
- If all this fails, any suggestion for an alternative bag that looks similar? The only alternative I found was this Slappa but it's kind of heavy (~4.3 lbs/1.9kg) and relatively expensive ($130).
Thanks.

did you check the razer store? is this the one?

Ah yep. Unavailable through Razer Store (both US and EU). Since today is the Easter, I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if they can sell me one.
First, their price is $18 less than E-bay, and second, they aren't e-bay.

They sell a starcraftII bag also.
Also that guy is selling it for $97, but with free shipping. Razer only gives free shipping with orders over $100. so it MIGHT be only a small price difference. -
If I recall correctly I saw one of these at a store in Hong Kong last year, didn't look half bad in terms of quality and what not. Not sure it's a bag that I'd pay $97 for though.

Razer gave me this bag for free along with other gear as compensation when their drivers had a virus in it
Its a neat bag, lots of pockets and looks rugged.
EDIT: Nvm mine is the 17" shoulder edition -
Yeah, I got the shoulder bag as well after getting a virus from the Razer servers. The bag is well made, lots of room for my G51 and accessories.
Another good shoulder bag is the Timbuk2 laptop messenger bag. -
I've been very impressed with my Ogio messenger bag. If you're looking for something tough, you might want to see if any of their models are something you'd like

Thanks a lot for good suggestions!
I got a nice reply from a cool guy from Razer sales, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem it will be available, quote: "We currently do not have any plans to restock the sling edition of the bag.".
In terms of e-Bay price ($97) yeah it's not that bad. Other bags that I was looking are also in that price range. $100 is the max total that I would be willing to spend on a bag. I should mention I just LOVE how Razer stuff looks like.
I could buy the shoulder bag (I have 1 more $50 off coupon + free shipping coupon), but it seems relatively big and it seems to me it can make a lot of pressure on your shoulders if you fill it with stuff. While with a backpack, the pressure will be distributed on both shoulders. So I'm still undecided now...Also, I will also be riding on a bicycle pretty much every day now that the spring has come, and my current messenger bag ($20 bag from NYC china town) does get in the way sometimes.

If you need a commute bag the timbuk2 is the way to go. Very spacious and comfortable. Yeah you could get a cheapo targus bag that will get the job done. But why not protect your thousand dollar investment with a nice quality bag?

For a 13" or 15" notebook, the be.ez LA besace (don't ask me how to pronounce that, it's apparently French) is worth a look. It's marketed for the Macbook Pro crowd, but I was extremely happy with mine. Now that I'm going from a 13.3" notebook to a 15.6", I'm buying another one - the next size up.
It's one of the few messenger bags marketed as being composed of "high quality materials" that I actually agree with. Everything really feels nice and I haven't had any durability problems. -
