Hey. So Ive been emailing back and forth with Razer support but they are ridiculously slow, yeah im sure they're busy but i don't care, theyre slow.
So i am here now, basically, im using the latest Broadcom bluetooth package. It works, ive sent files and connected to other laptops and etc.
The mouse is the problem though, according to the bluetooth manager its all connected but then suddenly windows starts asking for more drivers that the product claims it doesn't need.
So the 'Found New Hardware' wizard pops up and asks for my choice.
And obviously the only useful option is to let windows search for them, and it searches the internet and does whatever it does and searches for 'Unidentified Device' then eventually gives me this error;
Edit; so i cant post images yet lol. here is what it says;
A bit more info, im using a Samsung NC10 running Windows Vista Ultimate, with internal bluetooth.Code:The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry, this may be because the INF was written for windows 95 or later, contact your hardware vendor.
I have tested the mouse on another Ultimate laptop using a bluetooth dongle, it connected flawlessly and i was able to use my mouse on his laptop for about 30 seconds just to actually feel the joy of using it before he took it away again!
Razer support have told me it should work on vista, and going on my testing, it does. What they've had me do so far is turn off User Account Control, and retry, it was already off so i turned it on, failed, turned it off again, failed.
And then going on the way the other emails are written i can tell theyre just trying to fob me off. Please help!
