Is it possible to use Razer mice without that annoying Synapse software?

I don't care about the custom buttons, i can use KeyTweak or other programs.

Planning on buying a Razer Orochi (59$ CAD). If i need to run synapse, i'll just buy another mouse, preferably 60$ or under, limited budget.

This is the mouse i am currently using:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105166

    Reasons i hate it:
    - Stupidly small, no palm resting whatsoever
    - Extremely low DPI and inaccurate tracking on surfaces
    - Cable is horrendously long for something i use with a notebook, i would prefer wireless. The cable of this mouse keeps tangling up in knots.
    - Jumpy pointer

I don't care about multiple buttons, just need a reliable wireless mouse, main uses are gaming, video editing and CAD.

Normally, I don't install any keyboard/mice software - and the Razor I have works extremely well for my needs. ;)

If I'm not wrong there is a offline version of synapse, without using email and that stuff

    Will the bluetooth work?

To anyone asking about Synapse Offline mode, i don't wanna use Synapse period.

I'm using the orochi at the moment... I'm running on Windows 8.1 and using my notebook mostly for work (MS Office applications, Internet and Revit)... Nice feel, quite precise even if I didn't install synapse... Battery life is fair (my old logitech was way better though) i get to re-charge my eneloop every 3 weeks if im not mistaken. It comes with a USB wire so just in case you run out of juice while on the go you can still plug it in and get it working in wired mode in just seconds... overall, I love its performance. And also comes with a pouch so you can always keep your mouse in it whenever your on the go...

Green, though I disabled the backlighting to save the battery and avoid distracting people.

Except if it's a mint-condition vintage MS Intellimouse 1.1SE or Explorer 3.0 AKA the living legends of FPS gaming mice.

I never buy Razer anymore, and I used to be a die hard fan of them.

Why? Because I purchased a deathadder, brand new off ebay. Out of the box it had a broken button.

I call Razer support to get a replacement with all my purchase info etc...

They say because I did not buy it from a "local, brick and mortar authorized dealer" they would not honor the warranty.

They stated that ebay purchases are not warrantied because they cannot confirm that it was "new, and unused, rather than a used one in good shape."

I can promise you, I know the difference: this was a faulty brand new mouse.

That was money down the drain. Now I only buy logitech. The one time I had a problem with my logitech g400 (cord broke) , I called them up with the serial number for it and they immediately sent me a brand new one free of charge.
