    Hey guys,

I got the Razer Orochi a while ago, and have just recently noticed this problem. When I'm playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Orochi stops responding when I pull up a sniper rifle scope. I can pull up sights/scopes on other guns, and it's perfectly fine, but when I pull up sniper rifle scope, the mouse stops working all together. This problem only occurs in wireless mode, in wired mode everything works fine. I have the latest firmware and driver installed. I know this sounds ridiculous but it's true. Anyone have the same problem, or know a solution?

    Thanks

This might not be it, but, Try pressing the movement keys while aiming through the sniper scope. I think there is a setting that means you can use the movement keys to move the scope rather than the mouse.

Doesn't work, it just moves me around. I can snipe just fine in wired mode, so it's not that.

    Might be a glitch?

Yeah, it might be a glitch in the game. There doesn't seem to be any other reasonable explanation.

One other thing you could try is updating your notebook's Bluetooth card drivers. Make sure you uninstall it first via the Device Manager before trying to install new drivers.

Strange, never happened to mine. You can also try to update the firmware.

I'm actually using a Bluetooth dongle thing, my notebook doesn't have built-in Bluetooth. Do I still need to update Bluetooth drivers?

I think it would be best if you try to update it. It still functions the same way as a built-in bluetooth card.

I was planning on buying the Orochi and from all the reviews I've been reading, there's like a 8ms lag time when you don't move it for a couple seconds cause it goes into sleep mode for wireless.

Have you tried playing with it corded? When it is corded it has 1ms lag time which is normal. Just a coincidence that every time when you try to pull up the scope you stopped moving the mouse and went into sleep mode and for other guns you never got it into sleep mode?

Or doesn't work either way? Played around with the driver configuration? Maybe just a game glitch cause the new steam platform is a total piece of sht now

oh read over that part oops

then it's the couple ms lag time for the bluetooth. I can't figure out or think of anything else that could be it. Just ordered my orochi right now, can't wait. But, if you figured out the problem and if it wasn't in sleep mode with something else was causing the problem, let us know

I don't seem to notice any lag when playing Alien vs Predator with the Orochi. I use the bluetooth connection btw. Only opt for wired when out of battery.
