I just picked one up and I'm having some trouble updating the firmware. I downloaded the 1.06 updater but my Orochi configurator says I have 1.03?

Did you run the updater after you downloaded it? :p

The mouse has to be plugged in via USB to update; you can't do it over Bluetooth. When you run the updater it will give you instructions.

Yep, I ran the updater and the mouse is plugged in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, modified, repaired, and still nothing.

Maybe you can try redownloading the firmware updater. If that fails, maybe you can get it replaced.

It should be very clear its updating and updated if you run it.

Gotta make sure you put the mouse in the proper mode for updating, read all the directions step by step, and make sure your on a OS the update software supports.

I have XP so I'm good there. I just ran the updater and installed, there really wasn't any directions. Is there anywhere else that I can see what version I'm running? Obviously, it's not a huge deal, just kind of annoying that it won't update, or at least say it's updated. As for returning it, I don't see how the mouse is the issue here?
