It seems the scroll light is either turned on or off, but I was hoping there was a way to have it so the light was on while wired, but off while wireless to conserve battery life.

I don't see anything in the settings, but that doesn't mean someone hasn't found a way. So, any suggestions?

You can't do that in the Razer software; you'll have to use the software to shut the light off before you unplug it, and turn it on after you plug it back in.
