    Hey

I recently bought a Razer Abyssus mouse, and so far I'm pretty happy with it. I just have one problem, the logo at the butt of the mouse does not glow like it should. There is no option in the razer software to turn it on/off. I can't say I particularly want it on, however since it doesn't come on does that mean my mouse is faulty? Or does anyone know how I might go about turning it on.

    Thanks.

I don't think the Abyssus logo is supposed to glow. Some of the newer Razer mice don't have a glowing logo. My Mamba does not, for example.

Do you have the option to enable/disable the scroll wheel glow?

Yea it definitely glows Razer Abyssus Review Blog | lesterchan.net

The scroll wheel does not however, so there isn't an option for that. This is the first razer mouse I've owned so I can't say I'm familiar with them

I know there are 2 versions of the Abyssus: the 'original' (the one I have) and a special edition mirror edition, but as far as I'm aware they both light up, which is why I'm wondering if I have a faulty mouse.

Is it possible it's because I have other mouse drivers installed?

Post a screenshot of your Razer software, maybe you're missing something.

Check that you have the latest version of driver/software and firmware running.

If not, i suggest you contact Razer support. They are probably still updating their drivers and software to allow those settings.

The light should glow, and you should be able to turn it off. On a lachesis theres an option to turn off the scroll button and snake logo lights.

If you bought the mouse from Amazon, return it and ask for a replacement. They have an excellent return policy.

The Abyssus is a relatively new model; both the normal and Mirror editions are 3,500 DPI. It's the DeathAdder that used to be 1,800 DPI.

Ya the abyssus goes from 450-1800-3500dpi, but I don't think they sell a specific 1800dpi version which is why I thought maybe that driver would work with mine..

It's possible. That driver/software is actually the latest out of all the abyssus releases
