    Hey guys,

What's a good brand of rechargeable batteries? I bought this new set of rechargeable AAA batteries this weekend, charged it up full, put them in my Razer Orochi, used them for 2 days and they're completely dead. I'm thinking that the batteries probably have been sitting on the shelf for years. Any particular brands you recommend?

    Thanks

I've used the same 4 Duracells (rotated 2 at a time) in my digital camera for almost a year now, and they're still going strong. I use it virtually every day for work.

I thought the Orochi uses AA batteries. Not AAA. At least mine does. Anyway, back on topic, I use Energizer 2450mAh AA batteries. They're really long lasting.

Oops, yea I mean AA, not AAA. I thought AAA was the bigger one.

The best standard NIMH batteries are the Energizer and Panasonic. The Sanyo eneloop is okay, but they do not quite live up to the hype of storing the energy for as long as they say. I have evaluated theses batteries professionally, and we buy these by the 1000's for our products, so I am confident in the quality of the said brands.

A week of battery life? Jeeze...I've been using plain old Energizer AA's in my Orochi since the day I got it and they're showing no signs of slowing yet.

now I'm confused. Does everyone talking about rechargeable batteries, or mixed up with non-rechargeables ?

And please share some usage pattern, or else I could say I got a year on A battery (use 1 second daily LOL )

Edit: with the same Eneloop battery, I'm getting 3 weeks - 1 month of battery life in AnywhereMX (1 battery).. so don't just blame on the battery :D

Sanyo Eneloops definitely from me.... I got two months of Eneloops out of my HP OEM keyboard mouse set... poor Energizer batteries that I replaced the Eneloops with only lasted a month when I first used them, to 2 weeks(a year later) when I got fed up and got Eneloops..... Eneloops for a year now, still around 1.5+ months before recharging

Rechargables Energizer starts at higher amperage than Eneloops, but they lose current automatically sitting there(or in semi-use state) that they last shorter in the end

I have a few packs of eneloops , though they are only 2000mah , I have been buying Uniross 2100mah and they are great.

If you are in the UK, I found some cheap pre-charged 7dayshop brand AA 2100mah for £4.29 for a pack of 4 delivered with free cases , I ordered 2 packs so i got the for £4.19 for 4.
