Alrighty so I have a MS Bluetooth Mouse 5000, it's a great little mouse especially for BT, but I can only fit 4 fingers over it and it strains my pinky. I do some gaming and more general work/web browsing. So I'm looking for a mouse with these things, in order:
    1. Comfortable
    2. Wireless with a nano receiver OR Bluetooth
    3. Mid-full size
    4. under $50
I'm in Europe for another week, but I'll be getting back to the States soon. I saw the Logitech Wireless Marathon Mouse at Best Buy and it seems pretty sweet.

Other mice I've considered that will take convincing:
    • Razer Orochi (wakeup time from micro sleep would annoy me too much)
    • Logitech Performance Mouse MX (out of budget and too big)
    Anyone know of anything good?

    Thanks,
    Duct Tape Dude

    Tell us something,
does MS Bluetooth Mouse 5000 have wake-up freeze from bluetooth as well?

Marathon is a nice mouse as it is successor from VX Revolution.

<- The performance MX is more comfortable than the Marathon mouse because of the size, but other than that, not much difference.

    Thanks for the replies!
This mouse does have a wakeup lag but its sleep engages after a much longer time... I think perhaps around 5 minutes or so. So when I get back to my computer it takes little over a second for it to respond again (which afaik is a bit longer than typical RF wireless mice) but there's none of the "microsleep" crap that I've heard about from the Orochi. I only get the wakeup freeze if I've been typing for a long time.
Battery life is about 2-3 weeks on two AAAs with daily usage and never turning the mouse off. Decent 4-button mouse, just too small for me apparently.

Good to know about the marathon mouse. The VX/MX Revolutions were awesome mice, always wish I had one.

Hm ok. I tend to like smaller mice simply because I do travel around a bit every so often but it's good to know the Marathon is similar but smaller. I think that's pretty much what I'm looking for. The Performance MX looks like a really sweet mouse though! Maybe if I have a bigger budget someday... :)

I think the best fitting mouse I've found was the MS Explorer Mini Mouse. Perfect size and everything, but the receiver is too big :(

So I pulled the trigger on the marathon mouse and it's pretty awesome. good size, tiny receiver, and a decent number of features. The battery life says 1095 days left. I'm going to see how fast I can actually drain them :)

    Thanks all!
