Guys, I ordered a Dell Vostro 1500 the other night I decided against ordering a case with it because the Dell cases look a bit sh*t tbh.

Can anyone recommend a decent case for the 1500 that can be bought online? I have a budget of about €100 ($150).

    Thanks

I've read online that the vostro 1500 is a particularly large 15.4' laptop and won't fit most 15.4' bags, or struggle to. Can anyone confirm this or recommend me a bag?

    Thanks

For a case, I can recommend the Tom Bihn brain cell. I have it and it's great. Bags are another story, though. What type of bag are you looking for? Messenger? Backpack?

I actually don't mind to be honest, all I really need is something that offers the laptop protection, has a room for some accessories and a maybe few books for college and doesn't look crap. The room for books isn't a necessity as I can just buy a backpack for those.

I know this is a month old but if anyones looking for a nice compact backpack for the Vostro 1500 or Inspiron 1520 then have a look at the Eastpak Wyoming. It's not a laptop bag but with a notebook sleeve it will fill nicely. I've used it for over a week now with no problems whatsoever. Even when I just carry just my laptop inside I get no movement due to the slightly curved top. It comes in all designs and nobody will think you have a laptop inside.
