    I recently purchased a T61p 15.4 inch widescreen notebook.

I went to Best Buy the other day and nothing really caught my eye.

I'm going to be working on a masters I dont know If i'm going to be hauling my notebook back and forth every day from school or not.

Can someone recommend me a good solid carrying case or backpack which can fit 1-2 text books along with my notebook??

    Thanks so much!

    I'd suggest a Heys ePac.
I own a Heys ePac17 for my 17" Sager and I really recommend it.

Have a look at this topic for pictures of my backpack loaded with books.

Note that I was told they only ship in Canada. So if you live in the U.S. you're out of luck for this bag.

    It's really up to you...

If you're going to carry a lot, you'll be better off with a backpack. This is especially true if you have a heavy notebook or plan to bring a lot of books with you. Better to have all the weight divided up on your back and two shoulders instead of carrying it all on just one shoulder.

Have a look at this topic and this topic for polls on this subject.

If you want my opinion, I would recommend a backpack. But again, it's just a matter of personal preference.

Yeah I'm leaning for a backpack. Those sites are Canadian correct? I would like to see them in person, but its okay If I dont as long they will ship to the US.

What about Jansport? believe it or not I have a Jansport backpack that is 15+ years old that I used in jr high, the seams started to come loose and the leather ripped. I sent it to Jansport and they practically rebuilt it to brand new condition for FREE after so long of owning it!

    What about these?

Heys is a Canadian company and they do not ship to the U.S..
I haven't heard of Jansport (but I'm really no export when it comes to backpacks). It looks like a nice backpack and since you've had a good experience with them in the passed it certainly seems like a great option for you.
