Can someone recommend me a good mouse to play RTS games. I hardly play FPS games, only CS like once a month. I haven't really tried playing games like Crysis and CoD4, so I don't need big dpi. I enjoyed my old logitech 3 button mouse, it was simple and effective, but its been 5 years and its starting to die. My brother has a G5 and i decided its too bulky. I'm looking at razer, but which one should I go for? I prefer one that I can claw grip and palm grip.

If you don't need high DPI, what's the point of looking at Razer? That's their main selling point.

I love having as many buttons on my mouse as possible for quick access. That's why I went with my Logitech MX Revolution. 11 fully customizable buttons that I can configure individually for each application or game I'm in :D

Well, I still wanted a gaming mouse, and i was debating logitech or razer. Logitech is pretty bulky and my original mouse is kinda skinny, so razer looks more like my original mouse.

Logitech Mini Optical. Progamers use this.

That's not a bad mouse for RTS. That's one of the other models of mouse that pro-gamers use.

i use a razer lachesis and like it, but it isn't really the same shape as your old one. i chose it cause everything i read on it was saying it was good for people with big hands, and now after i've got this the wireless mouse i had with my old desktop is really too small for me. it also has a good amount of weight to it.

Really? It's such a simple mouse though. Not just RTS, i might use it for WoW if i start playing again, and cs. Then Diablo 3 when it comes out (and sc2 of course)

How's the quality of it? Any cons?

the mouse is great, the only problem i have is that the cursor jumps sometimes. i assume it's because of my cheap mouse pad being dirty-ish, cause when i cleaned it off before it didn't jump at all.

it takes a day or two to get used to, for the first day or so i kept on pushing the right button at random times.

Bump, anymore suggestions? I'm leaning towards razer for claw gripping.

I have the Lachesis and Deathadder. They are great mouses, just takes time to get used too.

Ill recommend the Deathadder unless you need extra buttons.

Have you updated the firmware/driver? It fixes those issues.

Never experiences them to begin with. Could also be your mouse pad/surface

I'm actually considering the Razer Krait because it fits the budget and it doesn't have the side buttons (which i don't want nor require). Also, how is every mouse w/ on the fly swapping but there is no button to do that unlike the logitech g mouses?

Or, I might go for the diamondback, maybe i will use the 2 extra side buttons?

Also, how does it take time getting used to flipfire? Do you mean it's high dpi?
