Well atm i have a normal recom cooler just standard 2 fan made of plastic
Need a high end cooler since i use this laptop for gaming at home too

For my new cooler i am looking at these specs

    1.is made of aluminum
    2.Has an adjustable stand
3.If it is a 3 fan instead of a 2 fan coolers it would be better
4.has at least a usb hub of 2 ports
5.Doesnt block the front of the laptop since soundcard ports are there :p
6.Well and if its black it would be better :)

is there anykind of cooler meeting these specs?
I am using an xxodd 8252d laptop (15inch)

I'm in the same boat as you. I just purchased my first notebook and I'm on the hunt for one as well. Hopefully someone knowledgeable will chime in and give us some recommendations.

I don't know how well this one is but it's got an aluminum faceplate, USB hub, and it looks like it will run off either an adapter or from USB:

Though only 2 fans, the Zalman ZM-NC1000 works very well even for my 17 inch laptop. Also matches your criteria. I highly recommend it.

For your criteria, Titan TTC-T4GZB is a good choice, im using it now for my old duo core laptop. It brings the temp down dramatically during normal use(from around 50C+ down to 30C+). During graphic intensive procedures like gaming or maxing out your cpu, heating up cannot b avvoided. But overall, it was great

    4 fans
    extendable tray fitting 12-17" laptops
It just nid 2 b put under the laptop and does not cause ant blockage.
Here is the review on this one, I find it helpful when it comes to choosing the coolpad:

The Zalman is overkill for me and it's too expensive. I have an Antec Notebook Cooler that I got for $11 after a $10 main in rebate.

    1. Yes, it's made of aluminum.
    2. No adjustable stand.
    3. 2 fans, but I've never seen a cooler that has 3 fans...
    4. It has a USB pass through connector which means you won't lose a USB port.
    5. Since it's curved in I'm guessing it doesn't block the front of the laptop.
    6. It has a black plastic border around the aluminum.

I've been using this cooler for about two months now and while I use it, I haven't heard my computer fan turn on! :D For me, I wouldn't be able to live without it. Go check it out! http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=75004

I find it does a good job on my rig with the two fans. In addition to the features thnksfrthmmrs pointed out, it has a dial control so the the fans are variable from low to high.
