I have an Acer TM8204wlmi that runs pretty hot - and the fan's output is on the right side, so when it spins up fast (like it always does, even during light use), my hand gets cooked![]()
I'm looking for something relatively inexpensive, and I'd like to buy it tonight at like Best Buy or Circuit City...
My laptop measures roughly 14.5" x 11"

I used to use a Targus Lapdesk. No Fans, but it ventilated my computer well. Although it didnt get very hot. Now with my new laptop... i dont need anything, it actually gets more ventilation on a flat surface (Table, etC)

I am very happy with the Zalman NC2000 I just got.
I have a 17" Gateway Laptop so was somewhat limited in coolers...way more variety available for smaller size laptops.
The NC1000 is the smaller version I think.
.
It also make a very nice stand that angles the laptop just how I like.
And I can fit it nicely in my notebook case along with the notebook. -
Its all about the Zalman ZM-NC1000 or NC2000.
They are the most recommended cooler for almost every notebook. -
I am really looking forward to getting one of these. The simple fact is that I still have to find a person who says that this Cooler sucks or doesn't do the job well!

If you go to Best Buy then pick up a Rocketfish Cooling Stand. Then provide a mini-review here.
Recommend me a laptop cooler thing!
