I am on the market for some durable, well priced wireless headphones that will not only will be functional with my pc but also my TV and mp3 player. I have been reading reviews about the Sennheiser 160 and 170, which appear to be the popular choice among the general public. Jabra REVO Wireless were also announced during CES which look different and provide surround sound, but no price or availability on that yet. I prefer not spending several hundred dollars. If anyone can recommend a pair of good wireless headphones, that would be appreciated.

I'm going to keep an eye on this thread as I'm in a similar situation. I've read that the G930 isn't too bad for casual gaming.

I was not a fan of G930, the gimmicky software messed up a few programs/games for me and the SQ was not fantastic.

Still I cant really think of any other wireless headphones to recommend if that is what you must have. I would however recommend just going wired any day.

G930 will not work for OP though as they are PC/USB only. If you want it to work with TV and all that your probably going to need to hunt down bluetooth transmitters and get some BT headphones.

That or wire stuff into your computer via line in, but then I bet again the G930 will not like that since you would be feeding a stereo source to a fake 7.1 set

I find the Logitech g930 to be really good for what they are, a casual gaming/everyday wireless headset. I'm not an audiophile in any way but I do enjoy a nice quality / versatile headset, and these are just that.

I went through this dilemmas myself when i was hunting down a wireless gaming set and tbh they're the best bang for the buck i've found. Went through the enitre Creative Audio Tactic3d lineup (rage, wrath, and even their omega topof the line (which all sound nearly identical imho so other than the omega being xbox and ps3 compatible idk why the $100 difference, they're essentially all the same.) The tactic3d was nice but a but flimsy on construction all 3 had some sort of defect. I picked up a g930 on amazon and it's been awesome so far ( 3-4 months).

They are very versatile i play a wide variety of games and an avid movie watcher and these have been delivering. They also have a "surround sound" on and off mode button to swap on the fly, but the quasi surround sound is alot more accurate than any other wireless headset i've tried. the configuration software is also leaps and bounds ahead of everything else i've tried.

My only complain is i wish the mic was removable and maybe add a 3.5mm input like the tactic3d rage which are wireless but also plug to a 3.5mm male-to-male if your want to use it as your headphones for ur smartphone or mp3 player.

all in all If i was to chose another set i'd go for the logitech 930 again.
