If you get a wireless mouse and keyboard that both use the logitech unifying receiver, then yes, both of them can use one receiver. To really recommend a mouse and keyboard, we need to know what you looking to do with them. Do you want one for playing games? Do you want a good travel mouse? Do you plan to use it on weird surfaces? How important is battery life to you? etc...

Perhaps for the headset, the Logitech G930. I haven't actually used this but it has decent reviews. Also, you will likely find better quality, better performing and cheaper headsets if you go wired.

EDIT: Also, what is you budget? How much are you willing to spend on these three?

Haven't had any experience with the headset, the keyboard looks top notch.

Just curious though, why the trackball? I've never used a trackball before and just wondering is it easy to use, comfortable? Seems like it would be awkward to use.

I prefer and use trackballs myself. They're nice especially for traveling, or places where you might not have enough space to use a traditional mouse. Some people complain that they're not as precise as a regular mouse, but I've never really had an issue with that. Of course, I'm also not a big FPS gamer either. :D The biggest problem you might have with the M570 is that since it's a thumb trackball, it might take a while before your thumb gets used to stretching the way it will have to to move the ball around. The other issues with trackballs is that traditionally, they've been limited to 2-3 buttons; in fact, until the M570, the only trackball with more buttons than that was the Microsoft Trackball Optical, which has been out of production for several years now.

Not really sure why you would need a wireless keyboard, if you're buying to use with a laptop... I mean, are you going to run it with the lid closed? If so, you'd need a monitor as well... If not, then when you open the lid, there's a keyboard RIGHT THERE... But maybe that's just me...

Anyhoo, my best recommendation is to find the closest electronics store (Best Buy / Circuit City / etc), and try to get your hands (and/or ears) on a couple of their display models, see how they feel. I could tell you that this mouse this, and that keyboard that, but at the end of the day, YOU are the one that's going to be using it, and what works for me might not necessarily work for you...

If you're just totally bent on Logitech products, though...

G700 Laser Gaming mouse <== Have one, fits me just perfectly, I love it.
K800 Illuminated Wireless KB from Logitech site, or at NewEgg
    H760 Wireless Headset

Is it a good buy? Well, look, no offense, but I think you're making pretty poor purchasing decisions. You're so focused on "wireless" and "backlight" that you seem to be ignoring how these products actually perform. A wireless product isn't just-like-wired-but-better!-because-it's-wireless. You're making sacrifices in performance, quality, and/or price to get that wireless capability.

$280 USD is a lot of money. If you actually care about how your products perform, then I'd get:
Keyboard: Steelseries G6V2 Mechanical Keyboard - $100 USD
    Mouse: Logitech G500 - $50 USD
    Headset: Audio Technica ATH-A700 ($115 USD) + Zalman ZM-1 Mic ($8 USD)

But if you don't care about performance, and all you care about is wireless and backlighting, then I guess the items you picked would be fine. Although I'd swap out the trackball with a real mouse (Logitech G700 or Logitech Performance MX, depending on whether you care more about gaming-level performance or battery life). And I'd swap out the headset you picked with a Logitech G930.
