I saw the reviews of the Logitech G13 gameboards and it is a 3year old product, Is it still good to buy? Are there different gameboards out there that are better than the G13? Thanks.

I would say yes. Logitech products have always been nothing but the best for me. I know the Belkin N52TE also is a very good one. If I were to get one, it'd definitely be the G13.

I've tried both the n52te and the G13. Definitely prefer the n52te for FPS since it feels more natural. The G13 feels more like it's suited for RTS and MMOs. Overall, the n52te is my choice and what I own. The G13 was Reizo's (now known as Baka).

I recommend the n52te, or as it's been re-branded, the Razer Nostromo. They are the same product though:

Apart from the logo on the palm rest, they are identical. Not surprising, considering Razer helped design the n52te in the first place, and made the driver software for it.

The G13 isn't bad, but it's definitely not as comfortable as the n52te/Nostromo. Also, it has more keys, which is probably nice if you're into MMO's and RTS games, but I had to lift my hand to reach some of the more distant keys, and I have large hands. Also, I like the n52te's actual space bar key more than the G13's two weird thumb-button things. And all of the 8 directions on the n52te's D-pad are programmable separately. I'm not sure about the G13's joystick, I never really used it.

I play MMO and RTS games most of the time. The nostromo looks more comfortable, while the g13 has more keys. More keys would be better. I like to try both gameboards on a store or something before I get one. :> Thanks for the info guys!

I have the N52TE, I am planning on doing a review of it soon, been way to busy of the late but its my next review project.

Its a neat device but not worth the full cost IMO (I got it for $20 new from woot.com)
