My old Sony travel mouse is beginning to feel sluggish in its response and speed. Can you guys recommend to me a good travel sized mouse that is wireless and does not require a mouse-ball (optical). Thanks.

Logitech® V500 Cordless Notebook Mouse, if you can deal with the scroll button in the middle. Very annoying behaviour
so I use it rarely, though my large fingers always hit it.
Mouse is small, works well on the top of my 17" laptop - square corner under the keyboard and right from the touchpad.
I'm not a gamer but I do play U2004 & Warcraft with it. -
love my logitech v500

I tried the v500, and unfortunately, it looks sleek and very sexy, I couldn't conform to it..
I got the v200 for free, and it's doing ok. Not gonna complain about it's enormous hump at the end...
I'm gonna get a mx700, but thats for a desktop use -
The Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse is the best bang for the buck!
I'm using one now and its even more comfortable than my desktop mouse (MS Optical Intelimouse Explorer). It only takes one cheap AA battery, as compared to two AAAs for the Logitech wireless mice. The USB wireless transmitter can fit under the mouse for transport. A must have for power travellers.
The best part is's plug n play. It doesn't even come with a CD! Just plug it in and your ready to go.
Highly recommended!! -
I'll second the Microsoft Wireless Mouse, I really like mine. -

edit: there was a review of the microsoft mouse mentioned here not too long ago, not sure where it is in this MB maybe someone can chime as to the whereabouts. -
I also use the Microsoft notebook optical wireless mouse, and i don't know if your right or left handed but this is the most comfortable mouse i've found for south paws.
Recs for a good, optical, wireless mouse?
