    Does anyone know of a Remote Control that will work with a dell 8600 or does dell have a remote control for use with its laptops?

    When you configure your 8600, the remote is a $20 option.

    I have looked everywhere for this option when ordering 8600c and dont see it anywhere ... or is this only for those in US (im in UK)

    Maybe you can find a wireless mouse with decent range. This might be a good alternative to look into. I use a wireless trackball for my desktop in much the same way as a remote control.
