I am a quadriplegic and use my desktop computer laying in bed. I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to control the computer. When the computer locks up, which is quite often, I use a small wireless remote button strapped to my hand to reset. I found a remote button online but it is only for desktops.

I would like to start using a laptop computer but it is required that I can reset the computer with my limited physical ability. I cannot move my fingers or reach very far with my arms. What I do now is moved my hand to my mouth and use my tongue to press the reset button.
Do any of you know of a laptop with a small wireless reset remote?

Can't you dictate a shutdown command to the dragon systems software to force windows to shutdown (even if it is locked up)? Although, powering on would still be an issue I suppose...

Well I found this site below which looks like it could have some useful devices for you if you scroll down. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

When the computer locks up, NaturallySpeaking is dead.
