I searched and found nothing so...anyone do this? I am looking for a cheap one because I am going to Florida for a week and the cheapest I have found is 70 bucks total. All of this is very confusing to me because I have never dealt with mobile cards and renting them...so if anyone could help me with a recommendation if they have done this or if they find any cheap places with a good card :D. Donno what information I could give you except I am going to be in Florida of course..and I am using Windows.

i don't think you can rent them.. it's basically a phone with a plan. you need to sign up for service and pay monthly. i'm sure there are a ton of wireless hotspots in florida...

Well what do you want it to be? The plans themselves are expensive.

Well I was looking at sprint.com..I could get a free card and the plan is 5gb for 60 bucks a month..so I guess I could perhaps get that and just cancel the plan for that month and then whenever I am going on a vacation or something..I could just reactivate it..though I bet it works like a phone though it didn't say anything about a contract.

it works with a contract, you can probably try it out for a couple of days and then return it but those things are not worth it. too slow for anything than just regular browsing.
