Hey. I did some searching but didn't find any advice on good replacements for the rubber antiskid nubs. Naturally, mine came off within a few weeks of use.

Is there a good DIY alternative, too?

Wait, are you referring to the ones on your laptop... or? If they are the ones on your laptop, and it is within warranty, you can give support a call and they should mail you replacements.

Yeah, on the bottom of the laptop.

I contacted Gateway multiple times when I was within warranty, but they insisted I send it to the service center (turnaround time 10-18 days) for the nubs or for replacement screws. What a psychotic idea. Losing my laptop for close to a month because of a rubber nub that is installed using an adhesive? Or screws that a child could replace?

I tried it with multiple techs, too. What idiots... Possibly the worst support I've ever encountered - it was like talking to a wall. Certainly a different experience after dealing with Gigabyte, Newegg, etc.
