I was wondering if there is either a way to control my iPod Touch from iTunes (i.e fast forward songs using the function keys on my laptop and stuff).

This would be very convenient for me.

I could spend $40 on a bluetooth audio adapter, however I'm concerned about signal loss through Bluetooth, isn't Bluetooth not designed for 5.1 sound and/or is there signal loss in a 2.1 system?
