So, I haven't seen any reviews for this bag on the forums so far, so I figured I'd write one myself. I bought this bag about 2 months ago and wanted something I could lug my 15.4 inch laptop (specs in sig), clothes, magic cards and other various things while being able to ride my bike, skateboarding, or walk comfortably. I had heard good things about timbuk2, and after reading a few helpful reviews I purchased it. I bought the medium size D-lux Racing stripe laptop messenger off of eBags - Largest Selection Of Handbags, Backpacks, Luggage & More - eBags in the Empire red/Graphite/Valencia color scheme shown below.

My initial thought of the bag was how spacious on the inside it was relative to how small it was on the exterior. The inside of the bag is lined with a blue waterproof TPU liner. On the inside of the bag, there are several pockets and accessories.

While the picture doesn't show it, there are also two removable pocket accessories; one is for pens/pencils, and the only is a general pocket with two flaps.
One of the major quirks about the bag is that is never falls short in the pocket department. In addition to the interior pockets I previously mentioned, there are several other on the outside. There is a main, large zipper-less pocket that's perfect for disks. Below that, there are three smaller zippered pockets. Additionally, there is a sideways "Napoleon" pocket which you can access without opening the bag flap. Another cool feature of the interior is the keyring in the second bag pocket.
The main reason I bought the bag was for the laptop sleeve, and the timbuk2 suffices in this department. This particular model has a red studded "love glove" which fits up to 15.4 inch notebook (the medium bag, that is). Unfortunately, while the sleeve does fit my 15.4 inch MSi width-wise, it is too tall for the bag and often sticks out, which i find a little annoying. Although the bag does feature a safety strap to hold your notebook in place, it would be nice if they accommodated larger notebooks instead of catering to macbook dimensions. All in all, the laptop love glove is an excellent feature that has probably saved my notebook some impact from dropping the bag.
The construction of the bag is of very high quality. The exterior is made of ballistic nylon, which after 2 months of use, has not scuffed, dirtied or torn once. The waterproof interior lining is a great feature, and feels sturdy and sewn right. While I haven't gotten the bag wet yet, I'm nearly positive it will keep my notebook dry were i to take the bag into the rain.
The strap on the bag satisfies in that it is strong sturdy and comes with a comfortable shoulder pad, but Timbuk2's new implementation of this thing called the cam buckle has proved pretty useless to me. It takes more time to unlock it and relock it when taking it off or putting it on than it would to just throw it over your shoulder.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. The bag delivers with a sturdy, spacious design and comes with the right amount of pockets. The love glove is a good feature, but it should definitely be larger in future models. The looks and general build of the bag are amazing! Would recommend buying this bag if you are in the market for a laptop messenger.
