    The reason for buying
After using a same backpack for about 6 years it was about time for me to replace my actual North Face Network bag. (See picture 1)

    The new bag
It has a very stylist look and form factor. Also it seems to be very light. The material used seems to be of good quality. However I the zipper to be bigger and sealed. The bag claimed to be waterproof. I didn't have to oppurtunity to test the bag in the rain yet. It's snowing right now.

    Features
The shoulders straps are very similar to my previous bag. I think they are made out of the same material (some gell like material). I find it's lacking padding for the back. However it has a nice little pad at the lumbar region. From the first load of books, I can say that it can take more load than my previous bag. The front pocket have enough place for any thing (PDA, cell phone, ipod, name it...) There's a small pocket in the front, it's kind of convenient for coins. The drawback, it's small and if you have big hands it will be hard to fit it in there. There's also two side pockets in which you can fit either your AC adapter or any gizmo. I have a ASUS W5a and it can be easily fit in the laptop compartment. I tried to put it in my Sumdex sleeve and it fits check pictures! It claims that it can accomodate a laptop up to 15.4 inch. Oh at the bottom of the laptop cradle there is padding the famous "impact guard". However I find it insufficient. So to be safe I will use it with my sleeve.
There's also another compartment in the back where you can easily fit a 2 inch binder.

    Conclusions
I hope that this bag will outlast the previous one. But will never replace it since I did a eurotrip with it carrying a Inspiron 8100. Sweet times. Oh yeah as for the price it's similar to my previous one 91$ CAD (from ebags). I just got the bag today and these were my first impressions. It will go under severe usage next semester.

    Pros
    -Good looking and pratical bag
    -Not too bulky
    -Well padded shoulder straps
    -Lumbar padding
    -Good load distribution
    -Good academic(books) capacity

    Cons
-Not enough padding in the back
    -Are the zippers waterproof???
-More padding for the laptop wouldn't kill
-Little pocket for coins might be too little for some.
