I just ordered a laptop bag from Roadwired and although their ordering process isn't as advanced with current order status as other vendors, I'm not concerned yet. I ordered the product on 5/28 (holiday weekend, understandable) and the only email I've received is a confirmation of the order number, which, when entered, shows up as being unable to track. Their footnote says "NOTE: This feature uses real-time UPS tracking information. If your inquiry returns an "unable to track shipment" message, it probably means that your order is still being processed at RoadWired, or that the package has not yet been scanned by UPS (our daily pickup is at 4pm E.S.T., which is when outgoing packages are first scanned into the UPS system). Please check again later, or contact us if you feel there is a problem or excessive delay." -- OK, fine, I understand that. But it would be nice to know an estimated delivery time, or even how long it takes them to process an order and get it to shipment.

Has anyone here done business with them? If so, how long did it take for you to receive an in-stock, ready to ship item?

    Thanks,
    Kelly

Never heard of them but if I'm going to order from an online website I've never used I usually check http://www.resellerratings.com/, but I don't even see them on there.

I own the Roadwired Skooba bag, and love it! Tons of pockets and compartments for storage, comfortable sholder strap, excellent padding for my dv1000t.

VERY lightweight! Easy to carry my laptop around inside this lightweight bag.

Sorry, I didn't order it online. I found it at a local camera shop, had read about the bag, and when I saw it in person, bought it.

    I wouldn't worry. They're a reputable company.

Roadwired is large bag company. Agree with Shel, wouldn't worry.

Also as an FYI the merchant does not have to give you an est. delivery time if within 30 days. That is the law. Granted I would be surprised if it took more than a week. But just a little information.
