I am thinking of buying one, and see that at first they had mouse wheel problems, If you own or have used one what do you think? Does yours have problems?

What gaming mouse do you use?

I've never used (or indeed, seen) the Kone, but I know a few people that have one and they generally like it. I can't comment on the mouse wheel issues.

I personally use a Razer DeathAdder, and until recently, a Logitech G9.

What sort of games do you play? Do you prefer high sensitivity (less moving your hand, quicker snappier motions in-game) or low sensitivity (wider range of hand motion, smoother motions in-game)? Do you use a palm-style grip or claw-style? Different mice are better or worse for different gamers and playing styles.

I have an mx315 right now which has been good to me for a couple of years, sensitivity doesnt matter all that much 1800 or more is fine, i've been looking at alot of mice, I don't like the deathadder the diamondback is the razer mouse I like, but I read somewhere the 2 side buttons were hard to access, and I use the back one for crouch and front for second pistol in FPS, so they are important to be easy to get too, I also like some lights to go with my m17x. the claw or palm isn't too important I have used both and can get to both.

Edit: The only reason I am buying a new mouse is because mine is back at my home in nova scotia and i'm not there anymore, and don't want to ship it.

Yea there is also someone selling a new lachesis near me for $50 dollars on kijiji, so I may buy that but I'm not too sure since I think im a bit used to the claw now,and the left and right click go up pretty high and look like they could be accidentally clicked.

Hmm...I'm surprised you don't like the DeathAdder, then; it's the most comfortable palm-style mouse I've ever held, and the two thumb buttons are perfectly natural to reach.

Might I suggest the Razer Lachesis? It's an ambidextrous symmetrical design suited for the claw-style grip, with a 4,000 DPI laser sensor, featuring 9 buttons: the two clicks, the mouse wheel, two small buttons on the center of the mouse just below the wheel, and two on either side of the mouse.

Also, you might like the Mamba. 5,600 DPI laser, wireless and wired dual functionality, and 7 buttons if I'm not mistaken.

On the Logitech side of things, there's the MX518 (optical), G5 (laser), G7 (laser, wireless), and G9 (laser). From Microsoft there's the Sidewinder (my second choice when I bought my G9, great mouse), Sidewinder X8 (wireless), and Habu (a Microsoft-branded Razer mouse similar to the DeathAdder).

What sort of budget are you looking at?

budget doesnt matter, wireless is a no, and I have already looked at all the razers and I would either want the diamondback or lachesis, but I'm really leaning towards the kone. as for sidewinders I will check them out.

Then if you like the Kone, go for it. I'm sure if any wheel issues do come up, they will be covered by your warranty.

yea the wheel issue was first run, they apparently fixed it, I would still like to hear some feedback from an owner of one.
